Ramsey Golf & Country Club is proud to offer a year-round House Racket membership which affords the opportunity to enjoy dining, social and racket privileges at the Club, including access to our active platform tennis program from October to April and to our pickleball program which operates from May to September! As a Racket Member you also have the opportunity to join our brand new pool complex and lakefront beach during the summer months. House Racket memberships are available for both families and individuals alike.

Platform Tennis & Pickleball

Platform tennis, or "Paddle" as it is commonly referred to, is an American racquet sport primarily played outdoors in cold weather which provides a unique opportunity to enjoy fresh air, competition, and social engagement. A blend of tennis and racquetball, paddle is played on an aluminum platform, smaller than a standard tennis court, which is caged to allow play off the walls. The court floor is gritted for traction and heated for dryness. Paddle is primarily a doubles game and matches are played day and night. 

Our platform tennis program at Ramsey Golf & Country Club offers an athletic alternative to traditional tennis, and is in season from October through to April. Our members are actively involved in social and competitive aspects of play, ranging from competing in Interclub leagues to participating in our men's and ladies social leagues and friendly matches held each day of the week.

Our platform tennis facility boasts three heated courts, and a dedicated ‘hut’ with views of the matches, where our members and their guests alike host frequent social gatherings throughout the fall and winter.
