Junior Golf Awards Dinner Sign-Up Form
The Junior Golf program is a wonderful program that is offered to RG&CC members and is run by parent volunteers. It is a program that allows your kids to get out on the course every Tuesday and play the game of golf with other kids their age and ability. The RG&CC offers 6-Hole, 9-Hole and 18-Hole groups. We have experienced record growth in the RG&CC Junior Golf program the last couple of years and expect this trend to continue. Besides the growing number of children involved, we also receive tremendous volunteer support from parents and other RG&CC members who just enjoy helping the kids get to know the great game of golf!
The 2010 Junior Golf season is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, June 29th and will continue every Tuesday for nine weeks. Junior Golf Awards Day is held the final week of the program and is currently scheduled to be held on Tuesday, August 24th. Each week the 18-Holers tee-off at 7:00am, and the 6-Holers and 9-Holers tee-off at 12:30pm. We also run the always popular Parent / Junior Tournament which is scheduled for August 15, 2010.
The Junior Golf Program is open to all RG&CC members who will reach his/her ninth birthday by September 30, 2010, and has not yet reached his/her eighteenth birthday prior to the start of the season. The child must also be a member covered under either a Family Golf Membership or a stand-alone Junior Golf Membership. Please note that the age requirement is a change from both the current golf manual and from the prior year registration form. This is a great opportunity for our children. We are all really excited about the upcoming 2010 season and look forward to seeing the kids out on the course this summer!
