Meet the Professionals

Our Golf Shop is independently owned and managed by our Head PGA Golf Professional Noah Bodt and his staff including Assistant PGA Professional David Plarre, Assistant PGA Professional Bill Pigott and starter Craig Budweiser. The shop is always fully stocked with competitively priced name brand equipment, apparel, and golf necessities from Titleist, Taylor Made, Callaway, Ping, and many more. We also offer rentals of push and pull carts, as well as our newest addition to the Club, electric powered golf carts. Offering year-round storage and expert club repair, the friendly professional staff at Ramsey Golf and Country Club are always ready to help you improve your game.

 
  • Noah Bodt, Head PGA Golf Professional
    • In his 25th year in the golf industry, Noah is starting his 11th year as the PGA Head Golf Professional at Ramsey Golf & Country Club in 2016. Before arriving at Ramsey in 2006, Noah started his career in retail management and turned pro in 1995 working at clubs including Sunningale, White Beeches, Forest Hill Field and Edgewood, and also as the General Manager for Emerson and Valley Brook.

      Noah is proud to have been an integral part of the growth and success at Ramsey Golf & Country Club in recent years, with an expansion of family and junior golf and an improved overall experience for the membership. Enhancing tournament management, golfer development and customer service, Noah and his knowledgeable  staff are always ready to welcome both new members and new golfers to the Club! As the owner of the Golf Shop, Noah offers competitive pricing, below even the largest retailers, for our members and is always ahead of the game on the latest in golf apparel, accessories and equipment.

  • Bill Pigott, Assistant PGA Golf Professional
    • Bill was born and raised in Burlington County, is entering his 18th year in the golf industry, and was elected into PGA membership in 2015. Bill is starting his 2nd year as the PGA Assistant Golf Professional at Ramsey Golf & Country Club in 2016. Before arriving at RG&CC in he started his career in golf at Deerwood Country Club in 1999 as an Assistant Golf Professional, and has also been employed at Radnor Valley Country Club, Madison Golf Club, and Rockaway River Country Club.

      As part of his position, Bill works closely with Noah and David to help successfully develop and execute junior golf programs, tournaments, and special membership events. In the off season, Bill has worked to hone his teaching skills and participated in several tournaments to continue to improve his golf game. He looks forward to continuing being a part of the RG&CC team and helping the membership increase their knowledge and skills in golf through teaching as well as helping them have an enjoyable experience at the Club.

  • David Plarre, Assistant PGA Golf Professional
    • David was born and raised in Bergen County, a former resident of Franklin Lakes and graduate of Ramapo High School. He started his golf career in 2001 at Myrtle Beach National which gave him a well-rounded view of the profession by exposing him to all facets of the business. He quickly realized that teaching the game of golf was very rewarding and that he could really impact people’s lives through teaching. He decided to focus his attention on this area and returned to New Jersey to work at Ridgewood Country Club in Bergen County and Glen Ridge Country Club in Essex County, among others.

      After completing the Professional Golf Management program, David was accepted to membership in the PGA as a Class A Golf Professional. David is also a Titleist Performance Institute certified instructor and recently became a US Kids certified instructor. David looks forward to continuing as an asset to the professional team at Ramsey Golf & Country Club by growing the game of golf through expanding the teaching programs, member tournaments and junior golf.
